Hey, that is great that you have awesome credit. Make sure the deal you are looking at is worth it. Right now is a time to buy and hold (rent). That would be great to do. I'm 18 and I don't have much credit because of my age, but I am going to make it either way. I live in Brooklyn, NY. My uncle lives up in the catskills off exit 21 so I don't think that is very far from ya. I have a partner I am investing with up in Utica, NY. Houses are cheap upstate, and there are many great deals up there.

You should have NO PROBLEM locating a PRIVATE FUNDER, NOT necessarily a PRIVATE INVESTOR!!! With your credit score you will find several funders, however the interest will be "high" and like everyone else you still have to pay those "stupid" fees!!!
