Script for Calling Craig's List FSBOs

Script for Calling Craig's List FSBOs

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Wondering if anyone would share their approach to calling FSBOs on Craig's List, etc.?

Thanks!

Hi my name is Sean and I saw your ad on craigs list. I was wondering if there was a time I could come by and look at your house.

If the seller asks any questions at this point simply tell them you are looking to buy in that area and need to see if the house is a fit for you.

You can do a scripted call but in my opinion you will have a far better chance of putting something together if you can meet face to face. Besides the training aspect of seeing the house, determining the level of rehab needed, determining ARV. Finding the sellers hot buttons. Determining what kind of deal it is. Wholesale(rare)L/O, subject to, short sale etc.

From doing this you will learn what to say and what not to say. You may be asked a question that you can't respond to on the spot. You will do a lot of listening if you are smart.

Good luck!

Is it worth it?

Hi guys, is it trying fsbo's on Craigslist. In my area (CT) I dont see as many as broker listings and my problem is as a novice I dont know the property values in different areas so I dont know if I'm looking at a potential deal or not. This might be a good strategy for me but time consuming. I'm having a difficult time with using my realtor just because I'm trying to juggle my job, family and realestate.

Nailed it...

I think Michael nailed it.

Here is a FREE property analyzer I've found:

https://tvallc.infusionsoft.com/go/RehabLite/sroberts/

It's a great tool to use to help analyze your deals (and did I mention it's FREE)! But, you really should spend the $97 and get the full premium edition! IT'S AWESOME!!
