Offlinehas anyone used both systems? if so, which one do you think is best?
I haven't used Prop Trend for a couple of years, so not sure how much information there is for investors.
Realty Trac provides statistics for area, ie. crime rate, population, school ratings, unemployment rate, income avg, median sales price for regular sales and foreclosure sales...
Also provides market trends and summary; gives you a list of real estate agents... so overall, it's pretty good.

Have you looked at foreclosure radar? Unfortunately it is only good in CA tho.
Prop Trend appears to be a real live information source of pass activity not guesting--WMCDO
unfortunately, I do need other states besides Cali; however, I'll check it out (Foreclosure Radar)

I just got prop trend after the edge & it gives you a list of cash buyers, realty trac for sure doesnt give you that, prop trend is prob better

prop trend that is, realty trac-is that a paid site or free? I forget. you know in Ca (i know you want for other states but just in case) in Ca they do have Property radar & I did use it for a month or so & it seems pretty kick butt. It lets you find owner of props, find foreclosures, create mailings to send to homeowners-out of state one's, vacant props etc. it seems pretty good.
Its from the the same guy who started forclosure radar. fyi. God bless Val.

I agree. I think prop trend is probably better. Although there is a lot of information that I can't decipher that go beyond what is taught in the tutorials. I'm guessing our best option is to call the 800#.

Realty Trac because house flipping is one of the most popular methods of investing in real state. Apparently, flipping houses was a big trend for a while there, until the housing industry failed. However, the quantity of people doing it has started to boost.
