I am about to make an offer on a shortsale and the realtor is telling me I have to put the name of my investor on the offer as well. That the bank wants to have all parties involved listed on offer. I'm in CT. Has anyone come across this. I'm going to put in an offer no matter what cause my investor likes the numbers on the property. Could be my first deal.

Doug,
Congratulations!
I have a couple of clients in CT, they aren’t having an issue with putting their name and/or assignee. My assumption is that your realtor wants to make sure the deal, if accepted goes through. They don’t want to spend a lot of time on a deal that has no hopes of going anywhere.
Proceed as instructed by the course. Inform your realtor that you have multiple partners and you aren’t sure who is going to actually be closing on the property, so it’s best to leave it as “assignee”. This should take care of the situation. If they continue to push the issue, it may be time to find a new realtor who is not so rigid.
Good luck!
