wholesaleing fee

wholesaleing fee

How do you negotiate your wholesaleing fee or assignment fee with investors. Do I just decide how much I want to make and budget it in? How do you know what a fair price is. If it were up to me id charge 10,000, every time but i know that is not possible. Thanks for the help fam.

Assignment Fee?

Many times when you have qualified your cash investor they will tell you want they will pay. However if they don’t then there are a few things to consider … The more equity in a deal means more profit for your investor and for you … remember, when you qualified your investor you found out if they are buying, fixing and selling or buying, fixing and holding and they have told you the profit they need. When you know this information you’ll be able to get a property under contract so that your investor is making the profit they
need and you’ll be able to make your fee based on the deal.

Of course we all want to make as much money as we can on any deal, but to quote a student of Dean’s (who is now travelling the U.S. doing training events for Dean)… “You need to leave some meat on the bone for your investor.” This is a famous quote from Greg Murphy …. He found out that the more profit your investor makes on a deal, then that investor will CONTINUE to work with you so you'll make more money! So we don’t want to get greedy when we’re working with our investors.

Typically speaking, you’ll make between $3,000 - $5,000 per assignment.

Another one of Dean’s top students, Matt Larson, tells students that your investor should be netting 3 – 4 times MORE than your assignment fee. So if you’re assignment fee is $4,000, then your investor should be making between $12,000 - $16,000 profit.

So if you’re wanting to make a $10,000 assignment fee, you need to make sure
you’re qualifying cash investors you are buying high priced properties.

The more qualified cash investors that you have, the more money you will make!

So keep up the great work, find and qualify your investors and then you’ll be
making some great money without the risk of buying the property.
