I always recommend that people always check with an attorney in their state to verify an issue and doubt as to whether something is legal or not. Many attorneys will give you a free initial consultation and help you by answering questions. This will give you the ultimate trump card when speaking with anyone else in the future about the contracts that you are using. You could inform them you consulted with an attorney and was unaware that they were one also. You could tell them that your attorney seen no problem or issue with the agreement - if in fact that is what they said! I hope that this information helps!
