OfflineHas anyone ever dealt with a citybacked lease? I have cash investors that want to open shelters for battered women using lease-backed properties. Not sure of the first steps to take on this one. I have contacted several local municipalities for help but didn't get much there.

I would recommend contacting some of the existing womens shelters in your area and speak with their director. Often they will help answer some of the questiosn you have about this process. Also, I have found local social workers to be a great source of infromation in this area too. They will usually be able to direct you to the person to speak to within the local government who handles this area.

I am looking in the northeast of Philly and also in Pottstown/norristown PA areas. My investors are looking for apartments to use as VA homes as well.
