My neighbor is an elderly lady with end stage alzheimers. Her heirs want to sell her house, one son has power of attorney. Can this house be sold? She does not live in it any more. what problems can arise?

The only problem will be the heirs POA being accepted. If they have all the documentation they need there will be no problems. The title company will ask for all of their paperwork of course. Yes, the house can be sold if everything is in order.
Then there is the possibility that family members might not agree on the selling price or they might not want to sell the house.
Just did one of these and closed on it in August. Same exact situation.
