Life as a Financial Advisor and Real Estate Investor

Hello Everyone!!

I just wanted to give an extra shout out to Dean for teaching Tomas and I more about real estate than we ever dreamed of knowing. This knowledge has made me a better advisor for my clients.

This week, I have had 4-5 real estate investors who have become (or will be soon) new clients this week. I am now able to better service them with their retirement and college savings plans because of my knowledge in real estate. Before Dean's program, real estate investors who came to me for retirement planning advice thought I was crazy because I did not touch too much on their real estate portfolio's. I would just tell them, that if it is still there, that's just gravy! JK....I actually, just tried to stay away from it, period. I would include their real estate in the portfolio's if they pushed it, but not analyze it like I do now! I have the tools I need to help my clients with their total overall portfolios.

For example, this morning I was able to help a 40 year old further diversify his retirement and college savings plans. He has accumulated 5 properties over the past 10 years but wants to get more aggressive. I was also able to add value by telling him where his strength and weaknesses were in his real estate portfolio.

These clients will be life-long clients because there are not too many advisors who understand real estate investing like Tomas and I do along with a conservative approach to retirement planning! I also have the background for asset protection and wealth transfer. Overall, Dean has helped make me a better advisor!
