Hello DG family.I need your help and i'm really counting on you. I would like to share a personal
story with you.A little over a year ago my wife and I decided to refinance our house or a (loan remodification)as PNC bank prefers it.To make this long story short,we contacted the bank ,got the paper work started, waited and waited,,,around 3weeks,we contacted them again. This time they tell us that they lost our paper and that we needed to start all over,,,,(WHAT?).
As you can probably can guess-,,,that's right our next months payment is due. The gentelman that we was talking to insisted on us not to make that payment because it would be added into the new (REFI), sounds fair enough right? WRONG!!!!!! After about 2 1/2 weeks into this process again we heard nothing and was getting concerned.
So the next day we decided to arrange payment just in case. That's when we was informed that they couldn't except our payment. So after about 4-5 days of back and forth phone arguments we finally got it,,,,the sheriff served us with a "civil summons" stating that we was in the beginning stages of FORECLOSURE,,yeah we got shaffted big time (ROBO-SIGNING).There is alot more to the story but I'll end it there. So DG family this is where you come in.Can someone, anyone help me with this situation by telling me what i need to do to make this right, not for the the bank, but for my family and the extra financial burden (YES I DID SAY EXTRA FINANCIAL BURDEN) they placed upon us, they requested $6500.00 for attorney fees, and processing fees and they could make this go away,,I paid it and to this day there still trying to take it from me.SO I ask humbly of you guys/gals what do i need to do ??? Any input would greatly be appreciated. THANKS YOU AND SORRY IT WAS SO LONG. GOD BLESS,,STEVE.

you need to call a counselor; there are some free ones... check below...
Finding a Housing Counselor
Housing counselors help millions of individuals each year regain their financial footing. These counselors often work for nonprofit organizations and are trained to help you with your financial needs – which can include helping you better manage your debt and finding solutions if you are in foreclosure or pre-foreclosure.
If you are having financial difficulties, the time to act is now. Don't hesitate and don't be ashamed or embarrassed – they are here to help.
Call the Homeowner's HOPETM Hotline at (888) 995-HOPE to reach trained housing counselors who can provide free advice and help you develop a plan to avoid foreclosure.
Call the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) at (800) 569-4287 or visit their web site for a list of approved housing counselors in your area.
If you are researching agencies on your own, be sure that you do your due diligence. Unfortunately, there are scam artists who prey on distressed homeowners and can cause a great deal of harm. Some will even try to strip a home's remaining equity through foreclosure "rescue" scams, which can actually cause homeowners to lose their homes.
Following are important items to consider if you are seeking counseling services on your own:
HUD-approved housing counseling services are free, so if an agency charges a fee, look very carefully at what type of services you are being charged for.
Is the agency accredited by a recognized accreditation organization such as the National Association for Credit Counseling?
How long has it been in business?
Does it have audited financial statements?
Does it have a community presence? In other words, does it have branches that are open to the public?
Does it have the required licenses to do business in the state where you live?
Have complaints been filed with the Better Business Bureau in the community where it is located?
Does it provide a written "Action Plan" after each counseling session?

The last time the house was appraised it was $150,000.00 that was 4yrs ago.The pay-off is around $100,000.00. This is the deal,I have never missed a payment on this house ,,,,EVER !!,besides the one (1) they told us not to worry about and thats all we've done since then is worry. We thought we had this taking care of 6or 7 months ago when we paid them there $6500.00 they ask for, then we received papaer work from them saying everything was good, and was in good standing.Fast forward down the road several months I find my house listed on several foreclosure web sites. The bank by the way is "PNC".
Send me a private message and I will give you a name and his phone number that probably can help you.
Take care

Hey SteveADK
Just to let you know 3 weeks is nothing. For our loan modification, it took from Sept 2011 to about a month ago (6 months) to lower our payment $157.57. Our house was appraised at $146,000 2 years ago and now it's appraised at $94,000. The payment was $1049.89 and now it's $892.38. I guess I have to think positive, $157.57 IS a FEW groceries. Good Luck and God Bless.
