Hi I came across a property that was used as a Marijuana grow operation. The bank has it for sale and if I can get it for a good price is it worth my while. Will an investor take this kind of property. Or should I just forget this one.

Sylvia, use that knowledge and get a very steep discount. One big well known investor and RE guru in Florida avoids former Meth houses....like the plague. He never said anything about 'grow houses', at least not that I can remember.

I think it's the other way around. In Florida, I know Kenny Rushing goes after crack houses ~ he's got a car wrap for his hummer. (:

I was referring to John Schaub....well known in the Sarasota FL area. He recommends and personally avoids Meth houses.

His strategy is Buy & Hold (Landlord), and he doesn't want his tenants or any of the issues that come with or from Meth houses. Plus the issues with the chemicals that are used in the production of Meth....just a headache he chooses to avoid; can't say that I blame him.
