Can someone explain to me how u do a no money down deal if the home needs to be analyzed?

Can someone explain to me how u do a no money down deal if the home needs to be analyzed?

Not many people address this from what I've been seeing. I get the no money down part as far as the transaction goes, but what about the money needed to have a contractor look at the house? If you're paying for this then obviously this isn't a no money down deal. How much does it usually cost to get a contractor? Thanks for any replies

Find a contractor that will give a free estimate. They are out there.

Thanks but when is it determined that you get a contractor?

At what point do you get the contractor? For instance you receive a call from a seller who wants to see you and talk about numbers. Is this the point where you call a contractor and get them to meet you there?

I would meet them first and get to know them a little. Then let them know you need to get an estimate on the rehab/remodel needed. Ask if you can bring your contractor over to get an accurate estimate. Then you will know what you can offer.
