That First Deal Left a Great Taste

I was a college student the first time i bought a property. I took over a loan payment of $518.77 per month. My wife amd I spent $100 getting paint and materials for repairs in the downstairs unit. We took a weekend and cleaned the place up.

We then went out and found four other college students to rent our basement apartment. They each paid $125 a month rent. The total rent collected was $500 per month.

We live upstairs for $18.77 per month. Needless to say, my education focus began to shift dramatically.

It was the beginning of a great life.
