As we approach Thanksgiving in the United States, it seems apropos that we should take a few moments to reflect on the things that we are thankful for. Reflection allows us the opportunity to remember everything that we have, and what we accomplished. It has been said that life is about the journey, not the destination. No matter our circumstance, we are all in the process of making it better. Whether we are a seasoned investor with multiple years and deals under our belts, or if we are the novice working on our buyers list and trying to come up with our 1st deal, the chance to change our circumstance and current situation is something to be thankful for. It is within us all to achieve those goals and dreams that we have established. Nothing worthwhile comes easily and without hard work. So it is with investing. But with hard work, dedication and an “I can, and I will” attitude you can accomplish anything you set your mind to doing. Now is the time. Be thankful and make it happen

I couldn't agree more. I am thankful for a great many things and one of them is being part of a wonderful community like this one.

What a great thought! Thanksgiving is only a week away. I have a lot to be thankful for. There are many good things and not so good things that have brought me to this point. However, when I look back on the not so good things they weren’t really too bad.
It is important to be thankful for what you have. There is a video going around this holiday season that shows a 90 year old farmer. He talks about what he is thankful for and the blessings that have come to him in his life. A couple of things stick out to me in this video. One thing the old farmer says is, “I never had much in the way of money, but I never felt poor.” This is the attitude we should have. Investing isn’t about the money. It’s about working hard.
The video ends with these words appearing on the screen. “Giving thanks isn’t a holiday. It’s how happy people live.”
