When setting up the buyers list should you use...........

Hi,

My wife and I both work and our daytime hours are gone doing that, we want to start building up our "buyers", "investors" list to get us started on the "assignment" aspect of the program of REI.

The problem is that we won't be home to answer the calls when the buyers call to let us know what they are looking for and give us thier information.

How or what do you people do to correct that, do you use an answering service, a home answering machine, using a cellphone is out for us because they are not allowed at work when your "on the clock".

We do have a cellphone, "who dosen't", that has a voicemail option but I want to be sure to be doing the right thing here when it comes to first impressions when setting up the buyer's list.

Thanks

When building a buyers list, you can get those from classified ads, street signs, Walmart. Any of the flyers that say, we buy homes..... Accumulate the numbers and call. I would leave a message that I would really like to talk with them and ask that they call you back at a certain time. If you aren't telling them why you are calling they will be motivated to call. Also, we suggest getting involved in an Investment Club. www.creonline.com.
