Are you ready for some Football?

Are you ready for some Football. This is Championship Weekend, right? I know how good the games will be and I will probably watch them too but what are you planning to do before the games? Sometimes we spend so much time getting ready for a Big game, family gathering or an event. I was speaking with one of my friends, Rick, that wants to be successful in real estate but he always tells me that he has no time.

NO TIME FOR BANDIT SIGNS!

NO TIME FOR BUILDING HIS BUYER'S LIST!

NO TIME FOR BUILDING A POWER TEAM!

NO TIME FOR RUNNING NUMBERS AND MAKING OFFERS!

NO TIME FOR CHANGING HIS LIFE OR DOING DEALS AND MAKING MONEY?

But he hates his dead end job and wants to find something, anything that can help him get on a new path toward another opportunity. He wants more for his life, more for his wife and more for his kids.

This Sunday he is having a HUGE all day Football Party for probably about 50 of his closest friends. This will be a good time, probably a great time for many of the guests, but it is taking Rick and his wife all weekend to get ready for the main event this Sunday.

He has to go grocery shopping for all the goodies from chips to dips and burgers to hotdogs, to name a few items at the top of his list. Then, he is off to the liquor store to get some adult beverages and then off to the bakery for Paczkis, a.k.a. Poonchkies, which is like a big powdered jelly donut. Yes, they are good but it is hard to only eat one.

I think its great Rick and his wife are having the big party for the football playoffs but at what cost to them? Rick has these type of parties several times a year and the SUPER Bowl Party will be more SUPER than the Playoff parties.

The cost of doing it financially, the cost of their time that day and the cost of getting ready days before it. I believe you have to do things that are fun and you enjoy to recharge the batteries. My point is sometimes when people say they want to make a change in their life, they have to change what they are doing in their life.

Change financially how they think and spend their hard earned money?

Change how they spend their time?

Change their surroundings and who they may decide to spend time with?
