A Simple concept of real estate through a millionair...

Hi DG family. First and foremost i apologist if this post is long. I am posting this because I would love some interpretation and see what you think of my recent experience.

Today I went to visit my father and to my surprise there was a gentleman there who looked ohh to average. Regular button down shirt (untucked), Worn out/faded jeans and sneakers that looked he owned for years.

I explained to him how I have recently took upon myself the study of real estate investing and his reply was "Young man, your lift will change forever if you stick to it"

He began to explain to me, Real estate is a game and the winning prize if financial freedom. He went on to tell me that in his late 30's he bought his first house with the earnings of his hard working labor. He put a down payment on a building in nyc (bronx) through a buyers program here in NYC.

He fixed up the property through a bank loan (im assuming morguage?) and had full tenets in his 4 unit bulding.

Within 3 years he had enough to put another down payment on another building that needed some fixing in nyc (Bronk) and once again had another 4 rented out unit.

He said he kept doing this but he eventually started buying properties every year, then every 6 months and so on...

He now owns over 87 building( Bronx,Brooklyn,Manhattan and New Jersey) and eventually sells a few here and there a year, he said he made his first few millions and described it as too easy.

The story goes on but I was so inspired because he went from hard labor construction worker to full time investor millionaire in a matter of 15 years.

He did leave out plenty of details as I would of loved to sit down with him and chat with him all day. Needless to say, I added him to my buyers list lol

but what do you guys think about this. He made it to...easy, As I stated I am new but have been taking action and hope everyone else does too =)

Golf

It's like playing golf. The object of hitting the ball in the hole is a simple concept. Some golfers can put the ball in the hole in 4 shots while other golfers hit the ball in the rough and hit it into a sand trap and end up taking 10 shots to put the ball in the hole. But eventually, the ball gets in the hole.

what we think

alot of us are doing it and others will follow, how bad do you want it thats the question you need to ask your self, you sound not quite sure if this is really true, its been going on for a very very long time, but you have to take action thats the bottom line!!!!!!Jim
