I have found www.realtor.com very helpful. It is the official website of the National Association of Realtors. Realtor.com is the public version of the MLS. This website updates every 15 minutes and any new listings will be found here usually first. I use the website for many things but the reason I am out there each day is as follows:
- you get to view all listings in your target area
- you normally see what properties go under contract - they should change status to read "contingent"
- you can view expired listings / or off market properties
- you can find comps
- they often list rentals as well as properties for sale so you can find landlords through tax records
- they have interesting articles
- you can search to find Realtors or RE Companies anywhere in the country
- plus even more good stuff
I am on everyday to watch and follow my target markets, see what is available and what is selling. It allows me to stay current on the market. Believe and Achieve!
