Anyone from the Charlotte NC area?

Starting to make me scared being the only one. Am I in the wrong area of the nation to be doing this? aaaaahhhh.

Hey moundman, I am in Concord (near the raceway). I just joined the site - received my BARM book a few days ago and I am almost finished with it.

I thought I was the only one around here. Have you joined the academy yet? I think I'm going to tomorrow. Let me know if you need help with anything.

I actually haven't even looked at the academy yet. I just started my 'journey to financial freedom' about a month ago. Reading books and changing the way I think. That is how I found Dean's book. I had planned on taking it slow but it hasn't worked that way. My realtor has already given me a list of potential investment properties and I am talking with mortgage brokers today so I can get my pre-quals out of the way.

I plan to look into the academy more and try to get as much help as I can in order to succeed. I am new to all of this and will use any resource I can.
