Deja Vu!......Lightening strikes twice!.....Another home disappears, but this time we saw it happen!

Another home disappears.....No need to contact Sherlock Holmes, Kojak, Magnum P.I., Columbo, Monk or any other detective because we know what happened here!

I can't believe it happened again, and in only 6 weeks. Back on 07-07-209, I wrote about the REO that disappeared in 12 hours! See link below:

Believe it or not it happened again! I was watching a home that was vacant. It had boarded up windows in a good neighborhood, however several hoems had flood damage in teh area and some people are taking longer than others to fix or sell the homes.

This home was on a corner and I would force myself to drive by each day to keep an eye on it. The trees were cut back last week and the home could be seen from the street. I did see water being pumped from the basement that was a concern but also would help with a low (reasonable) offer.

Then it happened a "FOR SALE" hit the front yard. It is on my Saturday "to do list" to view the home. My wife went to Target this morning and stated remember that house you wanted to see on Saturday? I said yes, She said it is gone! I said don't kid me they just put it up for sale. I had to go check it out for myself and I took my camera.

I could not believe it, the house was gone, however the backhoe was still on the empty lot! Gottcha in the act! I could see the ReMax For Sale sign still sitting in the grass and the empty lot. If I came by an hour later there would have been not a trace! I did not have the heart to call the realtor who had the listing but if he did not know I could not imagine his face if he met a potential buyer there later in the day!

Thus, as a reminder always do that final walk through and check with the local city, town or county before you purchase amd close on an abandon house! Good luck on all your deals! Believe and Achieve! Smiling - Joe

Yes, I believe the local city condemned the home. It was interesting to see this ocur with the recent lanscaping improvements and the minimial effort to get the home listed and then baaaam....gone in a few hours! There are several other homes in this area and I wonder what may happen to them. This has really surprised me to see how fast these homes go down even though they are listed with a realtor. I see you are an Edge attendee. I wasn't able to attend in person but I purchased the home study Edge course. I just finished watching the 4th DVD. It was VERY inspirational watching it on DVD, I can't imagine how you must have felt being there in person.

Dean's Gain the EDGE Live Event was nothing short of TREMENDOUS! Each day you left more excited than the first and more energized than the day before. I got more out of the first hour than I hoped to get from the entire event. In the evening I could not sleep because of the excitment of the new knowledge and I woke up to see the sunrise anticipating the great day ahead!

Dean was available to answer each and every question during the sesssion, breaks, lunch and even after the event. I remember at the end we had about a 1/2 hour left and Dean asked if there were any more questions. We had already asked every question on our list and so did the other attendees. The guest speakers were fabulous and also were very gracious to answer each and every question. Matt Larson could not even make it out to the restroom because he was swarmed by attendees during each break.

Yes, I did ask several questions during the event. My take away from the event was as follows: "Dean's event was the complete package that gave us the information, showed us what to do step by step and even opened up a million more brain cells for me as I digested all the great information presented at the live event".
