OfflineHas anyone done any investing In Long Island, NY. I have been doing a lot of searching and submitting offers but no bites yet. Also I cant seem to find any investors willing to back me with finances. If anyone has done any deals on Long Island and can shoot me some advice that would be great. Long Island is tough. There are some areas that investors are looking into. Most of them are close to the city (queens).
We were able to find one or two investors but they never went through with the deal, so we gave up on LI and focused on the NY area.
Where in Long Island are you?

Thanks for the response Yuri. Sorry I took so long to get back to you, I have been working all weekend.
I live in suffolk county around the coram/middle island area. And I like the idea of looking more in the NY area and upstate, I have also been thinking of going out of state in penn. or NJ but I just dont know enough about the areas to have the confidence to pursue any of those areas.
Any words of advice would be great. Thanks a lot for all your help.

You won't get any success unless you try. My advice is try to partner up with someone. I always find it easier when there are 2 people involved rather then 1.
