Notice of Delinquncy

Notice of Delinquncy

Does anyone know how to get a list (possibly called Notice of Delinquency) of people that are 30-60 days behind in their mortgage payments?

I called the courthouse and they said they don't have these recods. At the suggestion of someone else I tried some title companies, they don't have this info either.

I appreciate your thoughts or guidance. Thanks.

Notice

Usually when someone is behind in their payments, the legal notice that is sent is done so 90 days after they are delinquent. Depending where you live, that legal notice is called a Lis Pendens notice. Since this is a legal notice, it has to be recorded at the courthouse. If you live in a nonjudicial state, the notice is called a Notice of Default or NOD. The courthouse can choose to record it or not. When a homeowner is unable to pay his mortgage, it's between the lender and the property owner and a legal doc. doesn't have to be recorded. Hope this helps to explain.
