Is it a good idea to get a real estate license?
It depends on what you want to do in real estate. It takes time, effort and fees to keep a real estate license active. You may want to decide what you want to do with real estate and list all the advantages and potential disadvanatges.
As you grow as an investor, it is usually worth having a real estate agent to assist you with offers, etc. In real estate, you can leverage money and you can also leverage your time to benefit you the most. Good luck with real estate invetsing. Believe and Achieve!

JOE IS RIGHT IT TAKES ALOT OF TIME AND FEES TO KEEP UP WITH A RE LICENSE I DO HAVE ONE.
the repetitive classes you will have to take year after year to meet your State's Real Estate commission's licensing requirements. Why work for a smaller proportionate piece (%) of the pie, when you--the investor--can walk away from the closing table with a nice Fat check ($$$)?
