Offline2009 was the year that changed my life!!! Thanks to Dean's teachings and the support of this forum I had financial freedom for the first time in my life!!! This wasn't a financial freedom that came and went but a financial freedom that kept on going throughout the year. Each month brought a new deal and each deal brought a profit. I truly had a great time in 2009!~~
I am setting new goals for 2010 and here they are:
Purchase 4 properties (2 flips and 2 holds)
Commit to attending weekly Investor meetings in my area.
Increase my wholesale flips by 1 a month. This means I must get better organized by setting a schedule and prioritizing. (This is a big one for me)
I think we all need to set goals for 2010 and make them public. This will help us stick to them as other members of DG will be pushing us along and encouraging us. Making them public kind of writes them in stone for all to see.

I totally agree with the goal setting and jornal goal posting helping to make it official and "set in stone". If I tell myself goals and even writing them down is one thing but posting them in my journal for our DG family makes me push myself that much more because after all everyone is doing for me I don't want to let them down.
I also love reading others jounals and goals especial when they are moving fowrd faster than I am. Makes me feel like I am not doing enough and getting left behind which in turn motivates me even more.

Love the comments and inspiring talk on goal setting. It is essential to creating a road map for your future. I have just joined the DG community and the fear factor of the unknown started to grip at my insides but reading these forums instills motivation and accountability that will bring my dreams and goals into reality.

I am also going to try to do atleast 2 deals a month in wholesaling then return to my original goal of by and hold.

My 2010 is going well so far.
I have closed on 2 deals so far this year and I have 15 Short Sales in my pipeline that my team is negotiating. I will keep pushing towards my goal of purchasing 4 properties...if I can stop wholesaling them...lol! I think I am addicted to wholesaling, oh no I am a Wholesale Junkie!!!! Oh well it's all good
