I have done approx. 25 lease option deals in MA in the past 18 months. I was recently called out on one by a RE Broker challenging me that I cannot do this service without being a licensed RE Agent.
I wondered if someone knew for sure while I wait for an attorney to call me back or email.
One thing I've learned, is most leasee's do not purchase the home at the end of the term! About 50% do!
I am waiting on an Academy update as I want to go full time into investing without CASH...lost my full time job in manufacturing management, and at 55 no one has hired me in almost 12 months despite my knowledge and experience. So I will be successful in RE now, this month!

Where abouts in MA are you located? I am in Northern RI and just starting out myself. Maybe we could get together for a chat and to bounce ideas off one another. I am out of work on an injury claim and not looking like I am going back to that job. Everything is up in the air right now for me and I want to use real estate to secure myself financially while I have the time to learn and get started.

Kristin I'm about 10 minutes from Rte 146 and 15 mintues from RI...Providence is about 45 to 50 minutes from me! No problem getting together...I think posting an email address or phone number is not prudent.
