This is my very first post, and let me say for some reason I was nervous up until now to post something. I have been reading Real Estate books for about a year now and have been too scared to ever take action. Deans book gave me the boost of confidence I needed to finally get off my butt. I knew I wanted to join his Success Academy, but thought that affording the cost would be near to impossible. But I knew Dean would have told me to be open minded and look for oportunities. And so I did.
I am a college student and I asked my Financial Aid officer for any advice(letting her know that I wanted to make a "career switch" and go into REI.) She had been curious about REI for a very long time and since she had never taken action she found a way to help me fund for the Academy!!!! I won't be able to join until school is back in session but that means in September I will be a new student here!
I guess what I want out of my first blog is for anyone's support and advice about the Academy and if anyone has done anything in a big booming city like San Francisco?

I already went through the questions. My file is on hold until my funding comes through in September. I just don't want to wait that long to take action. I want to now! So I'm trying everything I can until then. I want to try a deal on my own before then!

Lol, how DID you get your college to fund the Success Academy? Where there any loop holes you needed to jump through? What did you say?
WOW, great job BTW! I'm going to be going to Bowdoin College soon and they do have a bit of money for these kinds of things, so it might be an opportunity for me to explore as well.
I say thats a good ideal, I am working on a few my own so I can learn and understand. In august will join and finish my information. I understand that Cash buyers are key and assignment deals. The Profit from Real Estate right now is Huge. I read it all the time and Starting mu assigning soon. Had some personnel changes. So you can do it just remember the first one is the hardest
