Have been doing creative real estate techniques since the 80s while running my multi-state public accounting firm. Sold it in 1992 and then began to focus on creating businesses in various fields. Through the 90's, I had partial ownership of a car dealer, a roofing company, a home improvement firm, a multilevel marketing firm, and a couple of others. It was exciting but my focus was too spread out. Took some time off and decided at the end of 2000 to do real estate full time and haven't looked back.

I am always open to investment ideas, techniques, processes and relationships that can take me to the next level. I am searching for a way to expand with multiple people who share the same core values and can be part of the greater good.

I saw your post on properties wanted. I live outside Atlanta, about 25 miles south of the Atlanta airport. There are a lot of great homes for sale out here, I saw an REO today that is for sale for 35K and estimated on zillow for 82K.
I am new to investing, I am trying to get started by bird dogging.

Bill I am working with a few investors who I have not yet done a wholesale deal with but I am very close. I am wondering how the deal should be setup if it is listed with a realtor on the MLS. How would the assignment work out? Do I lock up the contract and close then sell to the investor or something different? Please advise any details that you believe will be helpful. If you are still interested in partnering, I feel much more confident and comfortable and I am ready to role.Thanks a bunch!
