Escrow amounts- confused

Hi, I am doing 25:1 method with an agent. I am confused and I may have missed this part, but, as you make an offer thru the mls to the seller agent, I have to put a dollar amount in escrow. Usually 1% of the list price. The first question is, I've been reading that some investors who are doing this method put only 100 dollars to 300 dollars in escrow, less than the 1%, Is this true? Do I have to, or is it a MUST, a MANDATORY to put 1% of the list price in escrow? The second question is, do you have to write a check for the escrow amount for each and every property I made an offer to? (25 offers)Other words, do I need to write 25 checks for escrow amount for all 25 property offers? If this is the case, this will be a delay for me. I really wnat to get this going. any help will be appreciated. Thanks!
