LLC with a foreign principal

LLC with a foreign principal

Being Canadian and not being able to secure a loan in the US easily, I was wondering if banks will loan to a LLC with a foreign principal?

Anyone knows the answer to that?

Not sure

But why don't you call around to a few banks in different larger metropolitan areas and ask them?

Good idea. I also asked my realtor and she said that she thinks so but needs to check it out.

I know that in the past when I borrowed even under a biz entity, I was still required to sign personally.

Instead of going to the larger banks, which most people tend to do first, try smaller community banks and smaller credit unions. They can bend their rules more easily or even flat out change them at whim.

Good luck and let us know what you find.
