Where do you go to get your credit score and report?

Where do you go to get your credit score and report?

There are a million websites out there that will run a report for you, with a free trail, then other fees, etc., etc. Where do all of you go to get an accurate credit report from all 3 depts. Do you have a bank run yours for you?

Credit Report

Hi,
We all have the right to see our credit report! The only thing is...You will have to pay to see your credit score.I can not remember the site that i was on.I think it was...annualcreditreport!I could buy my score for under 10 bucks. The catch is always out there and the report i saw is not the same report people pay-for.Like if you were going to buy a DEAL!!!

Pay???

Not necessarily so. If you haven't already, then you can check your credit score for free(once a year)for all three(3) credit reporting agencies, just by going to annualcreditreport.com. I check mine every March like clockwork. Also if you'd like, you can go to quizzle.com and go through the whole applying for a home loan thingy and they set you up with a free credit report as well that you just go there and login and WHAMO! there it is. So if you have a printer and want to keep record of your credit history i suggest you print it out once you view it because like I said, you're only allowed one(1) shot at it once a year. Also you don't need to use any credit cards because this is not a scam site, it's the real deal.

You're very welcomed

Like I stated earlier, it's free to see your credit report from all 3 agencies, but if you want to find out your credit score, or even have your credit report mailed out to you, then that will cost you. that's why it's est to print out your report when you register to view them. They do give you the option of viewing them free for 30 days, but if you're like me you really dont want to keep logging onto a site just to see your report when you can just as easily print it out the first time. After all nothing on it is going to change within those 30 days anyway. And if you'd like to see your credit score for free, just go to either Quizzle.com, or Quickenloans.com and go through the rigors of applying for a home loan(even though you know you're not eligible). Once you get everything all set up, they'll have you make a screenname and password and then you'll be able to see both your credit report and credit score......FREE!!!!!

Free Credit Scores

Hey Jeremy......I just did this for myself and my wife a couple weeks ago.
There are many different sites you can go to to get your free score of all
3 credit bureaus. I used FreeCreditReportsInstantly.com. You have to sign up
for a 7 day trial subscription of their credit service but as long as you cancel within the 7 days, you get your scores and it won't cost you anything.
I canceled my subscription with a phone call, not a problem.

Just another way to get the scores without having to pay anything.
Good luck.

Jim

Jeremy and Bryant

Jeremy thanks for raising that question, it surely makes one think about knowing what is on that credit report.

Max and Rosefield, thanks for providing several alternatives to acquiring a free credit report and paid score.

As Lubertha mentioned, you will be surprised the errors you may find on the report that you had no idea about.

Thanks to all for your input. I really did appreciate. If you request a copy of your score directly from the credit scoring agency, you pay a little over $7, I just did the whole thing to scrutinize my credit reports and scores. I have to start somewhere.

or

some if not most banks will provide you with all 3 reports and scores for a small monthly fee; free the 1st week or month (varies). they even tell you who has looked into your credit during that time...once you get what you need, you can cancel at any time.
