Using OPM (Other Peoples Money) need some HELP

I have a line on a lot of good property in Indiana, but is being sold at fire-sale prices. The investor I was going to use to finance this deal fell through on me, and now I'm back to square one.
I have no credit, no investments, no savings, no money. I'm broke as a joke. This will be my first deal, and I need to make this happen. I have went over craigslist, and that was a waste of time; mostly ****n scammers respond to the ads.
Does there exist a free way to get investors to partner with?
Despite what I'm going to do with any properties, for the time, my only source is a private investor. Does anyone have any ideas?

Run ad looking for partner to Joint Venture with and split profits. You can offer to find the deals and your partner can fund them.

Does that actually work?

When you say "ad", I think craigslist. And from my research on how cl investing ad's go, it's a waste of time. Is there a more appropriate site I should be using?

No Money?

First of all, what do you intend to do with the properties if you find an investor? Buy and hold? Fix/flip? Wholesale/contract assignment? I would suggest you build a buyers list of real buyers and assign the contract. No money needed, you just need to learn what real deals are that investors will buy and learn how to present the deal with actual ARV and repair/rehab costs and your buyers selling, holding costs etc. and show them their ROI on the deal.

By the way, I have had great luck on Craigs list finding real buyers when I have a REAL deal to present!
