Just started a few days ago. I put an order in for the book and I'm waiting. I'm sure that by the time I get it I will not be able to invest right away (although I won't know until I read it, right?)
I don't want to cash in my IRA because that is my emergency fund so I've decided to get my hands dirty in bird-dogging. I figure I can do this for houses and large assets for people. I could probably even match people with jobs and jobs with people for $ at that rate. I even started the site www.bird-dogger.com because it sounds like so much fun.
Since I have an income from my home business that just covers my bills and what I need to do then I will save part of the bird-dogging money to invest and use the other part to help with my normal income until I get comfortable enough with what I owe to where I can invest into something without issues.
I actually always thought about doing this but never realized that people would actually pay for it.
I wish I could take out some cash to buy a house down the street yet it wouldn't be my residence and even the small amount would mess me up financially. Perhaps it will still be for sale when I can do it in a few months. If it isn't then something else will be.
Congratulations on starting your journal. I hope your plan of action is moving along for you. Please keep us all updated on your progress. Goodl uck with REI. Believe and Achieve! - Joe
