I received both of Dean's books on June 1. I am almost through "Profit From Real Estate RIGHT NOW". Wow, I think that book will be by my side for quite a while, a lot of information. I'm going to get some stick on tabs and tab some sections in there that I need to refer to over and again, until I memorize them.
I joined the Real Estate Success Academy last week, and am working the assignments. We'll be setting up an 800 number, ordering cards, setting up the website, and I'll actually be getting a cell phone next week. I've always told my wife I'll never get one, I never saw the need for it. I do now.
It's all a bit overwhelming, right now, but I know that it will eventually become second nature.

Hey Everyone!
I have my cell phone! A big move for me. We have the toll free up, and I'm rehearsing my messages. I plan to have them recorded this weekend. We've been driving around and looking. Found a couple of abandoned homes in nice neighborhoods. We are in the research phase, trying to find out who to talk to on these. I'll have a couple types of business cards ordered this weekend and have at least 1 Craig's list ad, as well.
