I'm so excited!!! I had an very hectic day at work and was so dragging.... and then it happened!!

I got back to the office after dealing with nothing but problems and being on the road all day. I checked my voice mail and the last call was from an old neighbor. She asked that I give her a call at work when I had time. I knew it was too late to call her at work so I said I'll just call her in the morning. Well I went to head for home and was pulling out of the parking lot when she drove right by me headed for home herself (I now live 2.5 miles past the trailer park that I use to live in with her). So anyway I just followed her home to see what she needed.

She gets out of the car and we are just chatting in her drive and she begins to tell me that she doesn't want to live here forever but doesn't know where to start. She said the she knew that their credit hadn't been perfect in the past and wasn't sure if they could even get financing. Then she tells me yet something else about a lady that works with her (that I also know) just had to move her mom into the local nursing home and is going to try to sell the house FSO for about 50K and the town assessment is 86K.

You can only imagine my amazement and excitement!! She has just ask me to help her and her husband to find a home or piece of land to move their trailer to and help them see if they can get qualified to do so. NOW she is telling me of another person who I could possible help out by getting their property sold!

Well I began to tell about trying to get a new business up and running and started explaining to her how I want to help people just like she and her husband. She said "WOW... that's great Amy I'm so glad that I called you today". She said that she and her husband had been talking about contacting someone and just wasn't real sure where to start but they both thought of me and thought That I could lead them in the right direction with their finances and then point them in the right direction with the realtor when and if they were ready. I left her saying that I would do some research this weekend for her and then call to set up a time for her and her husband to come up to the house so we could get started on what we can do next.

I am still in Aww of it all. I have been praying and asking for Gods guidance with starting this business and I think I may have just gotten my answer.

Sorry for the lengthy message but I just had to share!If anyone has any helpful ideas just let me know. I'm open to any help that I can get!!!!

Like the boys have said, it all seems to go this way. It's like buying a new car that you never knew existed and then a week later, it's the only car you see on the road!!

I'm a big believer in the law of attraction and I think you just may have proven it!! lol

Keep it up and I wish you all the best... That's an awesome example of how you will be able to help someone and then also get a good taste of REI!

I phoned in with the Team meeting in MA pulled together by Todd DP (see above)the meeting went Great! Everyone left with a list of Goals to complete before the next meeting (2nd Thursday in Oct.)

Glad I could help out a little... Like I said it just scratches the surface, so definately get some good advice from a qualified individual! I'm hoping down the road to put together a really good, detailed report that should help you all out there make some more informed decisions!

It's also great to see you are involved with Todd's meeting. I would definately attend if that was my part of the country, but I'm stuck here in the hot ass AZ sun! Really, I can't complain though, especially with the market out here. Can you say ca-ching!!! lol Anyway, Todd is a real go getter and I think he will do very well. Stick with him and I think you will go a long way!

Thanks for the info on S-Corps. Yeah... you are correct there is certainly a lot of info to take into consideration when deciding on how to set up your business.

I was unable to make the call last week. We had unexpected company up from your neck of the woods Tom.

We have had a little change in goals for the moment. Our oldest daughter is taking business classes for her degree in business administration and has me working with her on putting together a business plan for our business. She and I have been working together on that over the past few weeks and we have some designs for cards and are working on a mission statement. It's been so nice working with her and seeing just how excited she is about helping make it happen!
