Jim's Real Estate Journal

Jim's Real Estate Journal

Hello everyone. I actually bought Dean's book a little over a year ago and read part way through it. Now I am completing it and plan to read through a second time. I already know I will be starting out by doing assignments due to various reasons. Some of this is really starting to click, but I don't quite have all the pieces put together yet. I will not stop as the thought of getting a $10,000 finders fee or maybe $15,000, even $5,000 would be an awesome start. Right now I split my time reading what's out here on DG and reading Profit from Real Estate Right Now! I hope to meet and chat with more of you as time goes on. I have been paying close attention to Rina, CRB Power, Sully and Anita. No doubt there are others I will learn from as well. Down the road and as time goes by I will help others as well.

I do that alot

Jim,

How many times I started a project to never finish or finishe years down the road. I too can relate. I have yet to receive the book in the mail and am anxiously awaiting! The best advice given to me is finish what you start. Their are many people that have success stories from just going a little further in their journey, and reaping the benefits ten fold!

Can't wait to hear you finished the book

Chad

Hey neighbor!

Hi Jim, well we're close enough. I live in Morris, Illinois. I did my first deal down in Thawville,Illinois. I did an owner financing for a rehab and $500/month with a ballon payment after 1 yr. I bought it for $32.5k and have $5k in rehab cost totalling $37.5k . I sold it for $55k. That's a $17.5k profit. Just remember...DON'T EVER GIVE UP!
