1/10/11. Today I officaily start my journals of my journey towards financial freedom. The reason why I'm doing this is because I know that I need some accountability in my investing life. And I need to be more open about my dreams and goals to like minded people. Well, I would like to begin my journey by sharing my destination; it's kind of hard to begin a journey when you don't know where you want to go, right? So here is my long term goals. (five year goals)

To payoff all credit card debts of $15,000.00 by Nov. 2012
To pay for my daughters college tuition.
To quit my job as a bus operator by July, 2016. (4,500.00 monthly income)

This month I am going to focus on getting at lest 5 buyers on my buyers list. So today I will post a ghost add on creigs list to attract local investors to me.

My time is very limited but I was able to find and look at an REO property that has the potential of being converted into a three family. It's only about two blocks from my house and though I don't have the money to buy it I was able to find a partner that has 35,000.00 cash to invest. Its a little hard with the time limits but my enthusiasm must be catchy because two other people offered me 5,000.00 dollars each and they want me to invest it too.

Good job in keeping your priorities straight (your profile). You have taken your first steps in the world of REI. Keep your focus and read as much as you can because it will come in handy as you get stronger.

Today I am going to look at a REO property on the market for 26,500.00 that needs some work. I thing it could rentout for 900.00 a month. Anyway it looks promising and I'm going to check it out.

I have bine out of the game for some time now do to some family problems with my 17 year old daughter. So I was just focusing on the home front. It's bine a slow process but now i feel I'm once again ready to continue what I have started.

I have perchased Dean's new book "30 days to cash" and I thing it will be a good way to refocus and do the exact things I need to do to get results. I have found a good Realtor and have also set up an e-mail account strictly for business perposes.
