Recently moved to NC from MA and am anxious to get started. However, I'm smart enough to know I could definitely benefit from the knowledge and experience of others who are already in this field. If you are a current REI who would be willing to let me shadow you and perhaps bird-dog for you, please let me know.
Looking forward to hearing back from some local REIs soon... Suzi

Suzi,
I am in the military and as you know Ft. Bragg is right there. I will be moving in Mid March to begin some training and will be there for about a year and half. I will be very open to closing on a deal in the area. Post a reply on this forum and we can talk more.

Thanks for your response, your patriotism and loyalty and most of all for risking your life everyday for the benefit of mine and every American's. I, myself, just returned back to NC yesterday after visiting family and friends in MA for the holidays. I was excited to see your message and would be VERY interested in connecting with you come March. There are an abundance of great deals just waiting to be found in the Fayetteville area and after spending the fall laying the foundation and educating myself about this area, I'm now ready to seize my REI goals in 2010 and beyond. Have a happy and healthy new year...stay safe and I look forward to meeting you in person when you arrive in NC!

Suzi,
Thanks for the quick reply. I look forward to meeting a fellow DG enthusiast! I love my career and see real estate as the business that my money is in ie: "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki. Great read and will change your view on wealth and money in today economy! Will write and keep in touch!

That's funny you should mention Robert Kiyosaki. The coach/mentor I've been working with here in Fayetteville suggested that I read a couple of his books. I've completed Retire Young, Retire Rich and am almost done with Increase Your Financial IQ and am signed up for a Rich Dad workshop to be held in Raleigh next week. I, too, really like his philosophy and am very interested in incorporating it into my REI endeavors. Sounds as if we really are on the same page...great to know!
Take care and we'll talk soon,
Suzi
