OfflineI'm a newbie with DG and really excited about the University support we get. The Business Setup and Marketing workbook suggests slogans like: We buy houses fast.....14days for cash, etc. Here in Florida these billboards and ads are everywhere! I'm not concerned about the competition, rather the feedback that I hear from people is that these are perceived as scams. I want to be treated as a professional, not a scam artist. How do I get around this stigma? I'd like to hear from other DG members if they are using these ads and what other forms of advertising works for you?

you are exactly right on the support on this site.it is second to none !! i see you r retired !! awesome and the rv on the road ?? i love to travel.must be exciting for you to be in a dif place on dif seasons.I know what you mean about everyone doing the same ads.you just have to find a way to be different.i just read a book about doing different things that are completly opposite of what everyone else is doing and getting comfortable being uncomfortable.sometimes it is true in many cases that success comes from standing out.being different.take that risk to try a new way of advertising .people will know you are a professional when you are contacted and will do EVERYTHING possible to make it a win win for you both .

i use business cards and drop them off EVERYWHERE .in all stores,bulletin boards,rest rooms,gas stations,con stores,i even drop some on the floor at sears,****s,gander,malls ..all on purpose.i travel alot for work so i get these and flyers out in every town ,village and city i can. i also post ads on craigslist. matter of fact check out joe jureks online network site and read his journal.ask him any question u wish ,he is a tremendous inspiration .also read rinas,randy428 too !! you will gain an amzing amount of knowledge just from these. good luck
