Are there any REI Groups (Clubs) in existence, here in the Indianapolis Area?
I am new to the game and would luv to meet some locals.

There was nothing on Dean's Forum, but I did find this...

For the time being, I'm more interested in finding people here.

Actually, I did search in Google and saw all those that you listed. I've also found several that don't really have anything to do with DG. And, that's fine. They charge a yearly membership fee and could end up being the extra cog in the machine.
For right now, I'd rather find others who are local AND involved with Dean's approaches and his support vehicle.
Anyone?

Oh, I didn't realize you wanted something associated with DG. From my understanding he doesn't have teams stationed all over the country. Instead, his teams travel around the country, and will attempt to contact you via email when they are having a conference in your area. At least that's what happened to me recently.
Usually when you hear about investment clubs in the books and on the forums, they are talking about the local ones, because these are the people you will be dealing with out on the open market. You'll want to network with everyone you can! The good thing is they are all like-minded people, so it's not like walking into a room full of dream stealers. Usually these clubs include Realtors, Investors, Appraisers, Contractors, etc.
If you wanted something more private from DG, I suggest joining his success academy. That's the only thing I can think of that might fit what you need. Although it's more of an education program rather than networking.

Tony,
if you go to the 'REI groups/clubs' on the left in th emain section and enter indiana you'll find MsIndiana and pdqservices. You could contact them and go from there.

I believe I've already been in contact with "pdqservices" on a superficial level. Will revisit that. The other one (MsIndiana) is new to me, as nothing showed up in my original search process.
I'm 2/3's thru the book now and I'm more inspired than ever.
Will probably re-read and take more notes before the end of the month.
I need to get me one of those giant eraser boards .... LOL
What would really be great, is to partner up with someone in the area, already involved with becoming an Investor, and just get some OJT by standing off to the side to watch what goes on....
Thanks again, Mike.

Wanted to say thanks, as well, to "dominoafekt
I am lining myself up to join Dean's Academy. It's taking a bit of doing. But, I'm getting there. I'll let everyone know how I'm doing. I would luv to say i'm getting a full refund by flipping five deals after I've completed the course.
We will see....
