Hello everyone good after noon, my name is roddie and I'm a newbie to real estate as well as have a passion to want wholesale in real estate. i was wondering is wholesaling in real estate illegal and do i need a real estate license ? some realtors/brokers barks or oppose the ideal of wholesaling thank you ?

You don't need a real estate license and it is not illegal. Some realtors prefer to work with real cash buyers so it often takes some work to find a good realtor. REad the posts and the book 30 days to real estate cash to get started. BEst wishes!

According to my rei group you dont need a realtors license, but if you sell more then 5 properties you will need a limitied brokers license! Check with your state or county and ask them for the paper work to apply. No test and paperwork from the state you live in. Or at least that is in MN.

If you are assigning the contract, the property never goes into your name, so you can do an unlimited amount of assignments. This would only apply if you are doing something such as double closings.
