Just posted my first CL ad

I know I'm a long way from being 'there' but it feels so good to have an ad out there. I also had to write and record a voicemail message. The ad was one suggested by Jeff Jensen that goes as follows:

Attention Investors!!!
Stop spending all your time looking for great deals; let us do the legwork for you.
We find great properties for investors!
Call today XXX.XXX.XXXX

The voicemail is a combination of the 24 hour greeting as well as a flash of inspiration.

Hi and thank you for calling about our homes for sale. As our inventory is constantly changing, it would be helpful to know what you are looking for so that we might better serve your needs. Please take a minute to leave your contact information as well as a brief description of your ideal or typical property and we will get back to you as soon as we possibly can.

Can you guys give me some feedback on this?

Taking action is the first step

Everything you do has to be an extension of your core values and beliefs. As your knowledge grows, your direction for ads, VM scripts, and everything else will change. And that's okay as they is more than one way to do things right. For example, a lot of people love bandit signs but I have not used one in over a decade. Bandit signs never met my personal "comfort zone" in regards to the image of my firm. But it doesn't mean other people shouldn't use them as they can be effective. Anyway, great start on your REI career.
