OfflineHi everyone!! My partner and I just started getting into wholesaling investing. We are in the process of getting our LLC registered with the state and are very excited to get started!! We are brainstorming right now on what message we should record so that when we pass out our business cards targeting investors can dial the number on the card they get a good idea of who we are and draw them in. We are at loss at what else to include or what we should say. I've read a few of the sample messages in Dean's book but I feel that they are mostly targeting Retail Buyers when we are trying to target Cash Investors...am I misunderstanding the message in the book or the concept of investors who use wholesalers? Can anybody help clarify and perhaps give us ideas as to what we should include or say in our voice message???

Don't focus on how the your voicemail message is going to sound. Just leave something simple as "Please state your name, number and reason for calling and we will be in touch with you in a orderly fashion".
Get some bandit signs. Yellow corrugated plastic, red tip or a black tip huge permanent marker and write

Post them up on Friday evening and take them down on Sunday just in case of the sign police. Also, call other WE BUY HOUSES signs and ads to see what kind of competition you have. Ask them if they buy property from other investors and how quickly can they close.
