OfflineI put out 24 ghost ad bandit signs (one looked bad writing) geared to buyers as I heard Dean and Jen (from Vegas) speak of on the livecast.
All I wrote on the bandit sign was Desperate to Sell!
$29,000 and my number. In magnum sharpie black on yellow sign.
I did it Friday night.
I didn't hear them say anything about writing bedrooms or baths on it.
Did I do it wrong?

You could have put the number of beds/baths but more important are the signs in great spots with a lot of traffic??You will find out when you get calls WHERE they saw the sign since you will ask them where they saw the sign!You might put out 20 signs but only 2 or 3 might be in the best spots that get the calls.You will "fine tune" where the best spots are but it will take some time to figure it out....
No, there is not a right way to write bandit signs. You must use some different phrases and see what works the best. In my area, the ones that read: We buy houses, in ANY condition and a phone number or website work really well. Good luck to you!

It could also be the location where the signs were placed. You may have to play around with what the signs say AND the location. Now go get some!!

I just recently put out some bandit signs saying "We Buy Houses- CASH! - Any Condition", and I have not received one phone call. Now that you mention to try different locations out to see which works, I will be going out tomorrow at dawn to move them around.
Arcey, just focus on your target area. Try to find high traffic corridors to place signs. Then go to neighborhoods and place signs in different areas. Try to place at least 200 signs a month. Hope that helps...
