Hello everyone just wanted to see if I'm wrong for this. Ok so here we go. I found an agent and then started to find buyers like Dean tells us to do. Well come to find out one of the prospect buyers I was talking to was one of the agents that I was usings clients. I did not know this. So the agent felt like I was trying to steal his buyer and decided not to work with me anymore. What are the chances of this happening. I know I can't be the only one this has happened to. I don't think I was wrong. If anyone has any advice please tell me. Now I will move on there are to many buyers out there and to many agents for me to be worried about this one. I just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing. I don't want to step on anyone's toes. So how can I prevent this from happening again. Thank you for letting me vent.

you didn't do anything wrong. probably in the future when you are closing deals that agent will want to come and work with you because you are making so much money.

Shake it off, don't worry about it and just keep going

You're just not explaining the process accurately

If you've got your marketing out there..your bandit signs, your PPC advertising, your craigslist ads...if you're generating all these motivated off market seller leads you can explain to them that not all of these people are going to be able to sell their home at a price that's attractive to an investor and you aren't just going to throw those leads away. You'd like a good agent that you can refer these homeowners to and all you need in exchange is what you've read you need from a good realtor.

When you find a hot deal and that investor purchases that property... who are they going to list it with?.... THEM!

Talk about how you explained what you're doing to the Realtor and what were the details of your explanation?
