question about Dean's book, 30 days to real estate cash

hello, I just started reading dean's book and had a question relating to matt Larsen's instructions. Matt talks about calling the receptionist and letting her/him know you're an investor. once the agent comes on the line, then you're suppose to tell the agent you're an investor. has anyone had any push back from agents asking about "if you're an experienced investor, why are you asking me about hot spots, etc, shouldn't you already know this?" i'm getting ready to make my calls next week and wanted to see if anyone else faced this objection. Thanks for your reply.

Your new to the area

Yes I have had some push back and ask questions, so now when I get one on the phone I tell them I am an investor and I am new to that area. That way I am telling the truth, I am an investor and I am new in that area.

Yes I have! They look at you

Yes I have! They look at you like who in the heck are you? But just remain confident you can do it. Follow the book it is a recipe that works
