Pier & Beam Foundatation Repair

Pier & Beam Foundatation Repair

Bought a house with foundation issues. After getting numerous bids a foundation repair company was found and the repairs and leveling were done. Months later after repairing the sub-floor it was noticed that the load bearing wall is not supported by piers or a beam. The company came back out and wants to charge nearly what it cost to fix it and level the house in the first place.

I think they dropped the ball. Any thoughts? Any referrals to reliable foundation repair companies in Dallas TX?

Thanks Ya'll,

I'd tell them they should have noticed that in the first place with the estimate and they should be backing their work. They said they repaired the foundation so that it would support the house i am presuming and you should have gotten a warranty. I would speak to a lawyer and find out what your rights are to force them to rectify the mistake and do the job right or if you no longer trust them make them pay the cost of having someone else do the job right.
