Mom's Shouting from the Rooftop

This mom (me) just had to post about how proud I am of my son. He went to the Edge with me in April and has attended boots on the ground. He is 19 now and has been dabbling with the real estate business off and on. But like most 19-year old young men, he wanted some quick cash in his pocket so got a job--one of those telemarketing jobs. First day on the job this past Saturday he was the top producer. And all week this week the same; however, he told me after a couple of days that he just didn't feel right about it because he was having to "trick" people into buying stuff. He was going to qualify for a $300 bonus tomorrow Saturday--all he had to do was finish out his day at work today and tomorrow and it would have been cash in his pocket. Instead, today mid-day he quit and told the HR department he couldn't keep doing something that he felt was wrong! So my 19-year old son walked away from $300 bucks to do the right thing even though he doesn't have a penny and could have used the money. BUT...it has really fueled his passion to jump into the real estate full force. So if you have a minute, jump on his blog (firstever416) and tell him you are proud of him. This mom sure is!
