OfflineMy mom got involved with the DG family two years ago. About a year ago I decided to jump in with her. Because of college, I didn't invest the time into it that I could have. After my mom attended the AREA manager certification a few weeks ago and sharing the info with me, I was on fire and ready to go. Two weeks ago I decided that if I wanted to see success I needed to start now. I wanted to be a full service wholesaler, something Matt talks about a lot. So I decided to hit the ground running. No more waiting.
Within the last two weeks (more like a week and a half because of the holiday), I was able to get my entire power team set up. I was particularly struggling with finding a realtor. They tend to have very go-getter personalities and I would get flustered by their questions and lose confidence. Well, this morning I woke up and was determined that I was the one in charge and I was going to make sure I found a realtor by the end of the day.
I called with the confidence that I had built up from previous calls over the past weeks, and.....nailed it!! It unfolded exactly as Dean said in his book. He had the correct mindset and everything.
A little over 100 calls later, at least 85% 'no's, my power team is set up and I should be making offers as soon as tomorrow!! This really works! Keep at it!

If it is one thing that works for all of us it is perseverance. It really doesn't matter if it takes 10 calls, 50 calls or 100 calls, results is what counts.
I like to mention that when we are trying to achieve all of these contacts and relationships, we must keep in mind that we get our best results if we treat people like we ourselves would want to be treated.
