OfflineToday I took the first real step to building my team and doing a wholesale deal in the next 30 days, and it made me reflect on the cliche that "knowledge is power"...
The cliche suggests that all I have to do is know something, and thing will progress from there. However, I've become very good at accruing knowledge without really making it work for me. How is this power?
May I suggest a more appropriate phrase?
Knowledge is potential.
In physics, potential is the untapped ability for an object to expend energy or to move into action (kinetic energy). Potential is stored power. Stored power does not accomplish goals.
Today I took some of the knowledge that I've been studying to obtain since September of 2013 and put it to productive use. I acted on that knowledge to call real estate agents to start building my power team. I *knew* that I needed to do that for a long time, but it wasn't until today that I turned that potential (knowledge) into an action (power) that will move me toward my first deal.
It's thrilling me to no end! Knowledge is necessary to doing things correctly and productively, and you always have to keep learning so that you never run out of potential. Power requires actively tapping into that potential so you can move toward and eventually achieve your goals.
Knowledge is potential.
Power is dynamic.
Success requires both.
It would be so helpful to you if you can fill out your profile a little bit more so we can know who you are.
My advice to you is to
- stick with this website. There are tons of great tools which Dean and his great students have provided us with.
-When you acquire all these knowledges, you got to take action!
-Focus mainly on FSBO (for sale by owners)
-Build you're buyers list every day
-Put out offers. ALways remember "NO OFFERS= NO DEALS = NO MONEY"-Dean success coach

I love the 30 Days book! It's part of the reason I've started moving on what I know. As far as my profile, I'm never really sure what or how much to put there. I'll work on it.
