Dean Changed my life

Hello everyone, My name is John Trivett and I have been investing for a few year part time. I remember 4 Years ago this date I was sitting up late one night stressing about my career, goals, what I wanted to do with my life etc.. A late night infomercial came on that I will never ever forget. This dude was driving around in his car talking about how amazing the opportunities were in real estate right now and how easy it was to make money even if you didn't have any.. At that time I had just started my new Plumbing business and things were slow going and I was struggling! I watched this guy for an hr and ended up buying one of his books.. That one single decision and $20 bill I spent changed my life! I read the book and within 2 Months I had completed my very first real estate wholesale deal while sitting in a tree stand deer hunting in Virginia.. I did that entire deal through text message and 30 days later received a check for $2000. Several months went by and I fell into another slump. I then decided to pick the book back up and really get involved. I started buying more courses, reading more and staying engaged daily with people who had the same ideas and dreams as I had. I now have a family of over 10,000 members who for the most part are very active and helpful when someone needs it. I have partnered with many and received so much help at times where I was stuck and didn't know what to do. Someone asked me today how many "deals" I have done and its the first time I actually sat down and thought about it. Although its not that many, in the past two years I have successfully bought and sold, Lease optioned or wholesaled 14 Properties. I was kinda shocked to sit back and reflect each and every deal that I have accomplished while running a full time Plumbing business and I feel like I am just getting started. 14 deals is just a drop in the bucket to a large number of you out there. I know several of you doing 20+ a month which is incredible!! You Guys& Ladies are a huge inspiration for me and I plan to be there very soon. I currently have 2 Properties for sale and 4 cashflow rental properties and plan to acquire many more. I have never been so motivated to set huge goals for myself and I just wanted to share this because if it wasn't for that small little action step I took and purchased that $20 book I would not have experienced any of this or know all you wonderful Investors, Entrepreneurs, Realtors, Attorneys etc & the list goes on! Btw, that $2000 I earned on my first deal was the smallest deal I ever did! I'm not posting this to brag at all, Im posting this because it has been a huge accomplish for me to just take action and go for something that I knew nothing about. I was scared and nervous, I had no clue where to begin but I knew I had to begin somewhere. I was taking a leap whether it was the right direction or not, I had to leap. If I can do this than I know anyone can. I figured out my WHY and nothing will stop me or get in my way.. I had to reject so many self limiting beliefs from my past, childhood, education etc and stop making excuses for not going after what I wanted. When I did that, It became very clear what I wanted and how I was going to get it! Clarity will make your dreams reality!! Figure out what you want in life and do not worry about how your going to get it, just start getting it one step at a time!
